The Start of Roy Boy’s Barbecue
Roy Boy’s Barbecue started as just a small dream then into reality. When Roy worked at Southern Pride Distributing he was first introduced to the Barbecue world. Every pitmaster needs a mentor and Roy found his, Sam Blue owner of Big Blues Q in Creal Springs Illinois. Sam helped Roy get things rolling for his new restaurant idea.
The Flavor
We strive to deliver the best in smoked barbecue by using hickory logs to slow smoke all our meats. Low and slow is the key in getting the best in smoke flavor and tender meat. We use an amazing Southern Pride Oven to smoke delicious meats from Boston Butts to Brisket! Our sides are all made from scratch using fresh ingredients to deliver the best in flavors. Our menu is ever expanding to include more choices, as we grow new items will follow!
